Among several Training Programs organization request, the Crown Prince of Fujairah’s office entrusted me with a very challenging high-level project in Europe.
I was entrusted with organizing a highly customized training program for a group of 15 high-level directors, combining their one-week protocol visit in Europe with a specialized training on strategy, management, and leadership. The project required flexibility, as the itinerary evolved constantly over the course of the planning.
Starting with a list of 50 suggested topics, I curated a personalized training program tailored to the needs of the delegation. Through an in-depth preparation call, I was able to identify the key challenges and objectives of the group, allowing me to build a comprehensive solution that aligned with their goals.
The logistics of this project were particularly complex due to frequent changes. Initially planned for The Hague and Copenhagen, the locations shifted multiple times to Geneva and Oslo, depending on embassy requirements and official visits organized by the Prince's office. These changes required rapid adjustments, a great communication with all parties, an unparalleled sense of diplomacy to overcome the frustration caused by all these changes.
I conducted thorough research across all four countries, managing various independent trainers as well as proper training institutes, dedicated VIP bus/van providers, accommodations that fit within a specific budget. I proactively anticipated potential scenarios and prepared multiple options to ensure every detail was meticulously planned.
All of that in record time, ensuring the availability of each service provider.
Ultimately, I coordinated training sessions across two phases: first in Copenhagen followed by The Hague, and then in Oslo and Geneva. Each group spent two weeks visiting two countries and I ensured a smooth coordination from one country to the other.
In addition to crafting a personalized training itinerary, I handled all logistical aspects, including flight bookings, airport transfers, and managing last-minute changes. I provided participants with a comprehensive electronic agenda, making their daily schedules easily accessible.
I travelled with the two groups being their point of contact and remained available 24/7 for any enquiry from His Highness’s office.
The project was a resounding success. Their trip unfolded in the smoothest way possible, with everyone appreciating the meticulous organization and the personalized care I provided to each individual.
Despite the many logistical challenges, the entire experience was seamless for the client, who remained unaware of the complexities behind the scenes.
Thanks to the flexibility, the unwavering good spirits in all circumstances and professionalism I demonstrated, they entrusted me with organizing all of their future training programs worldwide.
